The pictures of this classic speak for themselves, and
while the pictures are speaking, listen to them, when they say never buy a
car from just pictures, and this is the perfect example, I bought this car
from a creep that said he was a doctor, and only when I got the car, did I
know he was also a liar, and a very skilled photographer, I paid $27,888
for a Pebble Beach Quality car, a direct quote from the seller, this car
was just an ugly driver
There is a silver lining to the story,
before putting money in the car, I did a lot of research, of the original
1450 that were built in 1961, I've written documentation of 247 survived,
it is rumored that only 15 factory bucket seat cars exist, I've tracked
down 6 in the USA, one in the UK, two in Europe and one in Australia, so
out of the alleged 15 I've confirmed 10, also the value of the car is
rising at a rapid pace, NADA shows the value as of August 2008 at
$143,990, in 2004 it was only $41,000, I have around $55,000 in the
restoration.
